Water Damage Restoration in Northeast Boca Raton, Delray Beach & Boynton Beach

In Northeast Boca and up the coast through Delray Beach and Boynton Beach, two things drive most of the water damage we see: Intracoastal water during king tides and storms, and homes that sit empty for part of the year. Aqua Revive provides water damage restoration across Northeast Boca, Delray and Boynton, with documentation that keeps flood water, wind-driven rain and plumbing leaks separate for your insurers.

What water damage looks like here

Seasonal homes found late. In 33487, about 28% of housing units were vacant at the time of the census survey, a strong sign of second homes (zip-codes.com). A slow leak in July can be a mold job by September.

Intracoastal and tidal water. Seawalls, low streets and ground-floor units along the Intracoastal take on water during king tides, especially when rain or an onshore wind lines up.

Older condo communities. Established condo complexes such as Boca Teeca and Sunflower in 33487, with aging plumbing, AC closets and stacked units.

Tornadoes from passing storms. On September 27, 2022, an outer band of Hurricane Ian produced an EF-2 tornado across Boca Raton, Delray Beach and the Kings Point community (NWS Miami). Roof and window damage from storms like that lets rain pour in.

Northeast Boca Raton (33487)

Northeast Boca stretches from the Intracoastal communities, including The Sanctuary and Bel Marra, west across Federal Highway to established condo neighborhoods such as Boca Teeca. The median age here is about 54 (US Databases). Many owners are retired, part-year residents, or both. That’s why remote access, video updates and insurer-ready records are standard on our jobs here.

Delray Beach

Delray’s best-known flooding problem is tidal. Marine Way, along the Intracoastal by Veterans Park and the city marina, floods during fall king tides, sometimes knee-deep (The Coastal Star). The city has installed tidal valves and is working on seawall upgrades (WPTV). Inland, Delray has large 55+ communities such as Kings Point, where the 2022 tornado passed. We handle Intracoastal homes, downtown and beach-side older homes, and west Delray condo and villa communities.

Boynton Beach

Boynton has its own king tide trouble spots. Flooding has closed the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Federal Highway (CBS12). King tides, onshore winds and heavy rain together have flooded parking, roads and walkways at the Coastal Towers condominium (WPTV). West of I-95, Boynton’s gated and 55+ communities see the usual suspects: water heaters, supply lines and AC overflows.

Buildings, HOAs and access

We arrange gate access and contractor registration with your HOA, and send certificates of insurance to condo associations. If you’re out of town, we coordinate entry with your manager or home-watch company. For tidal or storm flooding, we photograph high-water lines first, because flood and homeowners policies treat that water differently.

Northeast Boca, Delray & Boynton FAQs

Is king tide water covered by my homeowners insurance?

Usually not. Tide water rising onto your property is generally treated as flood, which standard homeowners policies exclude. That takes a flood policy through the NFIP or a private insurer. Rain driven in through storm damage is a different matter, usually handled under homeowners.

When are king tides in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach?

The highest tides of the year come in the fall, usually September through November around full and new moons. Cities along the coast post the predicted dates each year, and NOAA’s tide predictions show them for local stations.

My Delray condo leaked while I was up north. What now?

Ask your manager or a neighbor to shut off the water to your unit if they can, then call us. We’ll arrange access, send photos and video, and start drying. Report the claim to your insurer as soon as you know about it.

Do you serve the 55+ communities west of I-95?

Yes, including condo, villa and single-family communities in west Delray and west Boynton. We follow each community’s gate and contractor rules.

What should I do before leaving for the summer?

Turn off the main water valve or isolate your unit, leave the AC running, add leak sensors near the water heater and air handler, and make sure someone checks the home regularly and knows to call us if they find water.
